chipoletti If this, and, indeed, all my writing on the inner life seems to bypass you — i.e. you're just getting on with your life! — then that's absolutely fine, but perhaps there's at least a scintilla of a chance of saving ourselves if only we'd take more seriously the idea that the human spirit and form isn't pre-programmed (as appears the case) to replicate its mistakes of old, regardless of the consequences. -Julian Summerhayes

about

In these monologues, I share, in an open and heartfelt way, my journey away from a world of work -- 'doing it, doing it, doing it' -- and something more nourishing of the soul.

By day a lawyer but outside the (WFH) office, I write a daily blog, share the occasional poem and record a weekly monologue on Mixcloud.

These pieces, recorded in my office or in nature, are an extension of my 'true self' message and I hope in time will become an archive of my life's work -- the real work -- and what it means to wake up from our narcissistic torpor and live the unlived life that lies deepest in our soul.

What I say is no more than a reflection of your actual experience of the happening of the moment and being at peace in a world that is intent on asking you to conform in a way that corrupts the very essence of who and what you are.

As Darryl Bailey says:

"There can be no sense of peace until we realize we’re an indefinable activity. All things, all actions, all thoughts, words, and deeds, are the passing appearances and expressions of a great unformed, indefinable event."

True self is no more than a reflection of that indefinable activity.

Blessings and thank you for buying and sharing my work.
